Highwire, a platform dedicated to contractor success, evaluates companies across key safety metrics and management practices. Our team achieved a total score of 87, placing us within the Gold tier for companies who score between 85 and 94 on the Highwire Safety Assessment.
What the Assessment Measured
Highwire’s Safety Assessment reviews both historical data and current safety management systems. The evaluation covers categories such as injury and illness performance, incident reporting, OSHA compliance, training, and proactive safety initiatives. McGuire and Hester received full credit in several key areas, including:
- DART (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred): 15 of 15
- Recordable Case Rate: 15 of 15
- OSHA Experience: 10 of 10
- Management Systems: 30 of 30
- Zero fatalities reported across all divisions
Our score reflects consistent results across multiple trade categories, including Water Utilities, General Contractor – Heavy/Highway, Concrete, General Requirements, and Exterior Improvements.
