I am continuously inspired by the unbridled passion that so many employees at Casey-Fogli and CF&T possess. This passion was 100% apparent when we tasked 12 employees from the office and the field to write in their own words examples of how our Strategic Anchors were being used in the course of their daily work.

We asked our employees for these written examples in order to memorialize to others on the team how their colleagues were using these Strategic Anchors. As expected, we read great stories, more powerful though was that we uncovered the devotion and pride that so many people have for our organization. Let me first explain to those outside of Casey Fogli and CF&T what Strategic Anchors are. These are our organization’s top three core values through which each one of us guides our decisions and models our behaviors. Our Strategic Anchors are in bold below with bullet points under each to provide definition and context.

Each of the 12 stories shared was unique, yet all of them contained common undertones that centered around collaboration, support, honesty, pride, and commitment. Our people wrote of the care they have witnessed for one another as well as our clients. They spoke of building lasting relationships through conversations with peers that have helped develop each other’s skills, and with clients that have created high levels of respect and confidence in our work.

They shared stories of the pleasure they take in contributing to a thorough and fair bid proposal and the construction of high-quality concrete work. They expressed the devotion they have seen people commit to finding solutions that are cost-effective and responsible for lasting integrity.

All of that said, what most stood out to me in the stories I read was the passion and commitment our people have for the work they do and the people they work with.

At Casey Fogli, CF&T, and at all of the Harbor Link companies, it is this passion that sets us above others. What I witness every day are people going out of their way to assist each other. Be it a colleague or a client, our people recognize that they are accountable to themselves and one another, and as a result, apply themselves at the highest level for not just today’s outcome but also for tomorrow’s.

I am proud to be part of this culture and thank each of you for your contributions to it.
