If money were not an option my dream vacation is: Bavaria and southern Germany. I took German for 4 years in high school and did lots of research on the area. It looks super pretty and peaceful with some great hikes and lots of castles to go see.

I wanted to join the construction industry because: I was interested in how the world around me was built. Plus I really enjoy LEGOs, and the construction industry is one of the closest jobs I can get to real-life LEGOs.

Something you want to learn during your internship: How to better understand the unspoken/not as obvious things that people/clients want.

I wanted to join the construction industry because: I grew up in with my dad and uncles in the construction industry and saw the personal relationships they had formed with their peers. I remember how well they all got along with each other on and off the job. That’s something that I value and want to have in my career after college.

Something you want to learn during your internship: The goal for this summer is to familiarize and get a basic understanding of daily operations in the industry as well as form new relationships with other employees.

Something you want to learn during your internship: I didn’t have a fixed mindset when coming into my internship on what I wanted to learn specifically. I came in with an open mind and ready to learn as much as I can. The main thing that I wanted to learn was the steps taken in order to place a successful bid.
