Team members from our Sacramento and Bay Area operations gathered to recognize Rob Doud, Randy Somerday, Curtis Smith and Bob Osterman to reflect on the careers they built at McGuire and Hester. Stories shared during the celebration highlighted their professional accomplishments, as well as the mentorship, integrity, and commitment to excellence they brought to their teams.

Throughout their careers, Rob, Randy, and Bob helped strengthen our culture, build lasting client partnerships, and position McGuire and Hester for continued success. Their legacy can be seen not only in the projects they delivered, but also in the people they developed and the high standards they established.

Our Sacramento team also gathered with family, friends, and colleagues to celebrate General Superintendent Curtis Smith following 14 years of leadership and dedication to McGuire and Hester. Curtis brought steady guidance, a commitment to quality, and strong leadership to our people and projects throughout his career.

As Curtis begins his next chapter, he is relocating out of state and looking forward to spending plenty of time on the golf course. While he may be leaving McGuire and Hester, the impact of his leadership and service will remain.

Rob, Randy, Bob, and Curtis exemplify what it means to lead with integrity, prioritize people, and deliver quality that stands the test of time. We congratulate each of them on their well-earned retirements and thank them for everything they have given to McGuire and Hester.
