Bringing a New Outdoor Space to Life at Piner High School

by Rachel Fryer

Our team recently completed concrete and landscape improvements surrounding a new building at Piner High School in Santa Rosa. The project brought together a variety of site improvements, with the new courtyard serving as the focal point of our work and creating a welcoming outdoor space for students to enjoy.

Working Through the Challenges

With our work taking place alongside multiple building trades, coordination was an important part of bringing the project together. The Santa Rosa location also required our team to manage the added logistics of working outside our typical regions.

When material delivery delays and design challenges arose, our team worked to keep the project moving by identifying solutions and coordinating with project partners in the field.

Supporting the Piner High School Community

The completed improvements add new plant life and outdoor gathering areas to the campus while supporting the broader investment being made at Piner High School. Most importantly, the new courtyard gives students another welcoming place to enjoy their campus and spend time outdoors.

We’re proud of the improvements our team brought to life and our role in supporting the Piner High School community.
