I wanted to join the construction industry because: There are a lot of opportunities and my dad always talks about that if he could go back and change his job it would be in the construction management field.
Something you want to learn during your internship: I would like to learn is how a project develops weekly and also become more comfortable with MEP systems.

The best movie ever is: This is a hard question because there’s a lot of movies, however I would say Avengers Infinity War. I really like this movie because after a lot of movies, sequels, and build up it comes down to this movie.
My favorite candy is: I really like chocolate and my favorite chocolate is Cadbury Milk Chocolate.
My favorite sports team: I mainly watch soccer and basketball. So, my favorite soccer teams are Barcelona and Chelsea, and my favorite basketball team is the Bulls or the Warriors.
If I could turn into any animal, it would it be: a cheetah just because they are so fast and can run 50mph.
If money was not an issue my dream vacation is: I would love to go to Italy specially Rome.
I wanted to join the construction industry because: I wanted to join the construction industry because I love being outdoors and didn’t want an office job. Also, in the construction industry everyday is different. When there’s something different everyday it makes working fun and exciting.
Something you want to learn during your internship: I would like to learn as much as I can since this is my first internship. From doing office related work such as RFI’s, submittals, and change orders. Or being outside and seeing how the work gets done in person. As much construction knowledge I can get would be great!
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be: Pizza 🍕

I wanted to join the construction industry because: Although my family doesn’t have a history in the construction industry, it has always intrigued me. As a young kid what first caught my attention were the massive backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment in local construction yards and projects. Nowadays, I’m still motivated by them, but I’m even more excited for the opportunity to contribute to improving infrastructure.
Something you want to learn during your internship: There are a variety of things that I want to learn during my internship, but what I’m looking forward to the most is familiarizing myself with more of the construction software used in heavy civil work.
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be: Ramen 🍜

The best movie ever is: Dune Parts 1 and 2 are some of the greatest movies ever made in my opinion. The cinematography and soundtrack are out of this world and the grand story combined with stellar acting had me hooked from the beginning. I have also read the book series itself which I enjoyed and I would say it furthered my appreciation for those films for sure.
My favorite candy is: I have a definite sweet tooth and so my two top picks would have to be sour patch kids and nerds gummy clusters which are a rare but much appreciated treat.
My favorite sports team: I don’t really follow any sports super closely at the moment, but I was and still am a Warriors fan. 🏀
If I could turn into any animal, it would it be: I would probably choose something like a wolf because I admire their intelligence, strength, and sense of community, although life as a human is certainly much cushier.
If money was not an issue my dream vacation is: In the past I have road tripped through the U.S. from California to Wyoming visiting all of the National Parks, and to be honest I would love to do that again, maybe for a full month rather than a couple of weeks like last time. However, if money was no issue I would probably have to take a trip to Europe just to have the experience and visit all of
the coolest places in Germany, France, England, Sweden, etc. I would travel with my family and we would stay in all of the funnest spots we could find.
I wanted to join the construction industry because: McGuire and Hester has been a fixture in my family for a while and working in Alameda seemed like an amazing opportunity to have during my first Summer back from college.
Something you want to learn during your internship: I would like to develop my people skills learning how to operate effectively in a workplace. I also hope to learn more about different software and computing resources used by real professionals in the workforce.
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be: I don’t think it would be very fun to eat the same meal every day for the rest of my life, but if I had to choose it would probably be tri-tip steak with bread mac and cheese, corn on the cob, and roasted potatoes on the side.

Something you want to learn during your internship: During my internship, I want to learn how to work as an engineer within a company. I want to experience and see what it would be like to work in the construction industry. I want to learn the skills and traits to succeed in the workplace and make good lasting relationships.
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be: One meal I could eat for the rest of my life would have to be Dosa. It’s a south-Indian dish that you eat with a variety of different sauces and curries. It’s really good, especially when my mom makes it 😊
