Project Data Sheets
Together We Build Things Rights
Our projects are a great reflection of the diversity of our trades. For example, we have completed projects that called for the installation of exotic species of trees on rooftops, and we have had projects that required us to lay miles of pipe underground. Each project is unique, with its challenges and techniques, and capturing the data from each project is essential. This data helps us create reports that give us insights into market sectors and allow us to objectively measure, observe, and analyze project performance and make decisions and commitments based on facts.
We recently implemented a new process to make capturing and reporting this data easier.
When a project reaches 80% or more completion on the Job Status report, Project Managers receive an email request to fill out a web-based form that connects directly to our Salesforce database of jobs. This form is pre-filled with any existing data, eliminating the need for double information entry and saving the Project Manager time in locating this information. In addition, once the form is submitted, this information goes directly into our Salesforce database without the need for further administrative entry. We are actively pursuing projects requiring us to showcase our relevant experience based on criteria set forth by owners of similar projects. Our improved process to capture this data allows us to quickly determine if our project experience is a good fit for the project and then move forward with building our proposal.
“The form was easy to fill out and included a functionality that allowed me to save the data and submit it later when I could return to it.”
—Taylor Pope, Project Manager
“This new process is fantastic! It saves time and gives us the necessary information we need as we pursue future work, especially in the alternative delivery space.”
—Bruce Daseking, Exec. VP of Business Development
