At McGuire and Hester, we believe in celebrating not just milestones in the field, but in life. This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight Concrete Estimator Dulce, who recently tied the knot and continues to grow both personally and professionally.

Dulce and her husband exchanged vows at a beautiful winery in Livermore, surrounded by loved ones from across the country and Mexico. One of her favorite memories? Their choreographed first dance. After three months of lessons (yes, on top of wedding planning), the payoff was seeing the joy on everyone’s faces.
Their love story actually started right here at M&H, where they first met eight years ago. Though her husband has since moved on to a different career, their connection to McGuire and Hester remains a special part of their journey.

Next up? A honeymoon in Italy this fall. And back at home, life just got a little more exciting with a new German shepherd puppy and a senior cat joining their mini poodle.
Dulce’s journey into construction began with a civil engineering degree and an eye-opening internship that steered her toward the field. She now thrives on the Concrete Estimating team, where continuous learning and support from colleagues fuel her passion.
“I’m proud of becoming one of the first female project managers at McGuire and Hester,” she shares, also noting how meaningful it is to build lasting client relationships.

From estimating excellence to weekend half-marathons (and a full marathon on the horizon!), Dulce exemplifies the People value through her drive, balance, and positivity. Her story is a reminder that opportunity comes from embracing both challenge and change, and doing it with heart.
