Earlier this year, members of the McGuire and Hester team stepped away from their usual projects and job sites to take on a different kind of challenge: the Spartan 5K Race.

Known for its rugged terrain, demanding obstacles, and physically challenging course, the Spartan race pushes participants to test their endurance, strength, and mental perseverance. Our team embraced the challenge head-on, navigating steep climbs, muddy trails, and obstacle after obstacle with determination and grit.

While the race tested each participant individually, it also highlighted the teamwork that defines McGuire and Hester everyday. Throughout the course, team members encouraged one another, shared advice, and helped each other overcome obstacles, demonstrating the same collaboration and support that drive our success on projects across Northern California.

Completing a Spartan race requires perseverance, resilience, and a willingness to push beyond your comfort zone; qualities that are deeply rooted in our company culture. Whether tackling complex construction projects or conquering a challenging race course, our employees consistently rise to the occasion and support one another every step of the way.
